Stayed in Hutton Cranswick nearby and visited here a couple of times for drinks. Had a meal there on our last night and it was lovely, the gammon and egg not over cooked , skin on chips were yummy. My partner had steak which he said was one of the best one's he had eaten. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the locals are too. Will revisit another time when over there.

Had a lovely overnight stay at the white horse. Staff were really friendly and our evening meal was really tasty. I can recommend the gammon egg and chips. Rooms were really clean and a comfy bed. The only slight thing was the TV didn't work but that was all. I would definitely stay again.

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Really nice atmosphere and friendly service. Food was amazing and to be fair the portions were to big. We had the lasagne and the mushroom hotpot and a portion of hand cooked chips. All the food was really nice and all well cooked. We will definitely be eating here again.

Really nice overnight stay in this small, yet modern village hotel. Didn't eat at night and breakfast was basic, but fine. Drinks very cheap in the bar. Under £4.50 for a pint these days is unheard of!

Location is absolutely beautiful and the staff are wonderful and friendly. There’s a complimentary breakfast included which is continental style and taken in the dining area. This is a pub, so expect some noise at night, this dies down pretty quick and the rooms are fairly well sound insulated when the windows aren’t open. Staying in room 2, these are lovely but basic. In line with the pricing (they are excellent value for money). They have a Sky TV and en suite, along with tea/coffee making facilities. Some may find the rooms in need of modernisation, but at this price point, that will be similar in most places. It’s not all singing all dancing, with sleek travel lodge vibes, it’s an inn for the weary traveller. The main point for me is clean and great service which is what this place does :). Highly recommend :)
