The Blue Bell Inn

Can’t comment on rooms as didn’t stay over but stopped in for Sunday lunch on our way home from Seaton Crewe. There was 8 of us and our dog. The pub has a lovely feel, the staff we great and the roast was one of the best we’ve had! Some had the beef brisket which was melt in the mouth, some the pork and a couple the chicken. All the meat was cooked to perfection, two types of potatoes, 6 types of vegetables and the gravy was soooooo good! To top it off the price was great aswell. Such good value. Definitely worth a visit. Who ever lives local to that pub is very lucky!

We have eaten here before in the summer and it was lovely, came back a few weeks ago on the off chance they had a table around tea time and they fitted us in no probs, I had the fish and chips and my partner had the parmo which were both delicious. Very nice atmosphere, great service and food. Would recommend.

Stopped here while doing the C2C. Exactly what we needed after a long hike. Great drinks selection, perfect burger (very generous portions). Staff were friendly and professional, food was exceptional. Camping site and facilities were great: flat pitches, hot shower, place to charge phones and even a kettle (£10 per tent!). Recommended for anyone passing through!

Came for food last night, with a group of five of us. Food was amazing, from the quality to the portion size and cannot fault the price. Will definitely return and it’s not become a firm favourite with the rest of the group too. Highly recommend.

The food was first class with large portions and very reasonably priced for such an extensive menu, plenty to choose from in the way of drinks and a good variety of wines too. Its dog friendly atmosphere was great with a real open fire just what a country pub should have.
