Scarborough Open Air Theatre Announces Exciting Line-Up for Summer 2026 Season

Excitement is building as the countdown begins to the summer season at the TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre. With just three weeks to go until the first show, more acts have been added to what is already shaping up to be a record-breaking summer of live music. The theatre is set to welcome some fantastic talent, including the indie rock band Circa Waves, who will be joining The Kooks as special guests on June 18.

Circa Waves and Girl In The Year Above

Circa Waves, known for their energetic performances and catchy tunes, are a Liverpool-based band that has been making waves in the music scene for over a decade. Their latest album, Death & Love Pt.1, features popular tracks like American Dream and We Made It, showcasing their unique blend of melodic rock. This year’s season at Scarborough Open Air Theatre promises to be one of the biggest yet, with a total of 28 shows lined up. Alongside The Kooks, Richard Ashcroft, and Alex James’ Britpop Classical, the theatre will host an impressive array of artists, including:

  • Paul Weller on June 12

  • Skunk Anansie and Garbage on June 20

  • Michael Bublé on July 6

  • Tom Jones on July 26

Julian Murray, from the event promoters Cuffe and Taylor, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season, stating,

“We are just three weeks away from our opening night show for this year’s 28-show season at Scarborough Open Air Theatre – and still more amazing acts are being added to the line-up!”
