The Craft Centre and Design Gallery, Leeds
Established in 1982 The Craft Centre and Design Gallery in Leeds is part shop, part gallery. It aims to takes visitors on a journey to experience the talent, skill, originality and beauty of contemporary craft made in the UK today. With work by over 300 designers on display at any one time you're sure to find what you're looking for; whether it be for inspiration, gift buying or simply to while away a peaceful lunch hour
Gallery Forty-Nine, Bridlington Old Town
Occupying two floors of a Georgian listed building, and boasting four exhibition spaces with an exciting range of paintings, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics by contemporary British artists.
The Acorn Gallery in Pocklington
Awash with superb originals from many top artists, including stunning seascapes, landscapes, fantastic figurative pieces, romance, abstract and humourous. Check out the originals gallery.
Yorkshire artist Lucy Pittaway has two dedicated Art Galleries, located in Brompton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire, with the second in Richmond historic town centre, North Yorkshire. Lucy uses soft pastels to create bright and uplifting artwork, with each piece having an underlying story and inspiration related to her own life, family and surroundings up in the Yorkshire Dales. Her designs can now been seen on a range of homeware and stationary.
Hope Gallery showcases a very carefully curated collection of original art, photography, ceramics and sculpture, with evolving and affordable collections. Hope is independently operated with a reputation for seeking out some of the most inspiring and individual pieces and a genuine passion for art.
