I'm not religious, so can only comment on the stunning architecture of this cathederal in minature. It is breathtaking and such a surprise to stumble upon it. The local community should feel incredibly fortunate to have such an interesting and unsual archcitectural gen in their midst. As an aside, it nice to see that it is still so well supported in this day and age and hasn't been turned into a nightclub or warehouse. For fans of unsual architecture, check out the houses just down the hill, at the end of Rawling Street, heading down to the junction of South Street. If you look at the buildings astride the junction, one of which is shown as a cafΓ© in Street View, the other is a Cantonese takeaway, you'll witness the most unusual properties, although it beggars belief that the local authority granted planning permission to the takeaway owners for the change of use/frontage and installation of that monstrous carbuncle of a fume extraction system on the South Street aspect? What were they thinking? Do they even know this has been carried out? This is clutural vandalism of a very insidious nature, creeping almost silently through our communities and it is time it was stopped.

Bit of a stunner this: mini Durham Cathedral in back street Keighley. Choir, organ, super Chagal style windows in the apse end with small panes of green, grey and blue rectangles. Mesmerising!
