The Percy Vears is a real ale pub serving well-kept beers, lagers, and ciders. It also has a good selection of spirits. It is cheaper than most pubs in the area but it doesn't compromise on quality. Dogs are welcome, and a water bowl is available. The staff and regular customers are friendly and very helpful. It is a small pub with a cosy feel. Many who visit once come back again. For those who like Karaoke, it is on once a fortnight (search "Percy Vears Real Ale Pub" on Facebook for details).
Decent pub with nice looking bespoke pint glasses. Not the biggest range of beers though
Friendly atmosphere, fair prices and the pub was nice and warm too.
A genuine community pub just off the town centre, a haven for locals but with a welcome for all. Great value prices, no meals, open all day every day
GREAT BAR, EXCELLENT BEERS, TREMENDOUS STAFF AND AN ASTRANOMICAL ATMOSPHERE
