Ray’s Smash House

I dont usually ever post reviews but I had to come here to post one after trying this place on a whim. Burger, chips, drink and milkshake all for £12.90 + delivery in todays economy is incredible. The milkshake was not only value for money at £3 but it was actually a proper milkshake. Very high quality like from a dessert place. Most other places would've charged at least £8 for this alone. The beef patty had a perfect golden crust and was very juicy. The chicken patty on top was very flavourful, clearly made using fresh high quality ingredients. The chips were very well seasoned but otherwise standard chips. The only feedback I'd give is maybe a cheese sauce over just half-melted mozerella for the cheesy chips but other than that I have no other criticisms with the food. The chef in the back is clearly very passionate about every order. If this quality and pricing can be kept up I can easily see this place overtaking CoCo's (who have had a drop in quality). Easily my new go to place for burgers, very good value for money.

Been eating from here for some time now I’ve practically had there whole many the food is top tier service unbeatable they’ve done an amazing job with there shop it’s very clean and tidy at all times. Good prices for the amazing food they give out 👍

Finally managed to get my hands on the new menu and it did not dissapoint !! Everything was fresh, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. We ordered the rays fillet o fish and the cane box the fillet o fish is barley any different to McDonalds if not better and the cane box was presented effortlessly alongside the homemade coleslaw which topped it all up nicely. Staff are always so polite and show incredible customer service would definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back for more !!

**EDITED Tried them again and omg. The smash toastie was unreal 😍😍 got the canes box again and it was much hotter this time, the tenders are the best and the toasted brioche is my fave ever. I'm so impressed with the food and I'm so full. Thank you x Seen this place hyped up and thought I'd try it tonight, was really looking forward to it. The burger was okay, the canes box arrived freezing cold, I warmed it all in the oven. The chip seasoning is nice and the tenders were soft and the coating was flavourful. My fave bit was the toasted brioche, they forgot to include my house sauce too, bit gutted because I wanted to try it. A bit disappointed if I'm honest but not writing it off, I'd probably just try something different next time. Can't complain at the prices either.

Honestly, I can't even explain how good this place is. The food, the quality, the customer service—everything's just spot on. We went for the doner wraps again (our go-to now), and as always, they were packed well and tasted amazing. They didn’t have the dessert I wanted this time, but.. they let us know and we decided on a sundae instead (so good 👌), plus my fave chocolate bar and an apology note. Just goes to show how solid their customer service is. Big thanks for another awesome takeaway 🙌 I would 100% recommend.
