Had a positive experience at this branch. I went in this morning and was seen quickly by an advisor who dealt with my enquiry very efficiently. I would use this branch again.
I wanted to know if my account and details were gone through and a lovely worker candase helped me with everything and did it with ease very satisfied
Do they not realise that other people work too and can not make these opening times.... And CLOSED on a Saturday. This would be the only day the majority of people would be able to call in…. And to top it off, they’re now closed Thursdays as well.. To add to all that, Lloyds customers can now use Halifax. And they still haven’t changed to more reasonable opening times.
Worst bank in England in my experience. Poorly staffed, ignorant rude employees, make so many mistakes its genuinely hard to believe. Halifax: get your act together. Go elsewhere if you can.
Absolute nightmare!!!!!!! Halifax blocked my bank card whilst I was in asia and then told me the ATM had ruined it or that my mobile phone de-magnetized the card. After traveling 7 hours on a bus to a city that had Western union money transfer, I transfered myself my money and withdrew it using western union. Halifax bank knew my card wasn't working and I had informed them of my situation. Then in their infinite wisdom they decided to freeze my bank account when i withdrew my money via western union. For 'suspicious transactions'.... I told halifax that it was me using the money transfer company and they need to un-block my bank account. To which they said I have to come back to the UK to Verify myself in person at the branch!!!!!! I Rang up a few days later and they told me that i dont have to come back to the UK and they have unblocked my account. I asked if they had blocked my card and they said there was a block on it...... So, from my 'personal experience' i would not use this utter Shambles of a bank. 😵
