Gives impression you can pay by card but you cannot so guessing it's app

Disappointing as when I went to use this charging station. I wanted to pay by card as there is a card payment point on machine.but I was unable to do so.and I wasn't sure weaver I had bin charged for it. I had to phone them up to check I hadedent been charged for charging.i was waiting on the phone for about 15 minutes to get answer.then I was told the card reader doesn't work.and if my card had been deducted by £25.00 it would be refunded as this is holding deposits. I was advised that only way of charging here is my signing up to the app. I n my opinion then the card reader should be removed. This was my first time using this charger and it has put me off. Very disappointing.
