After getting the dreaded timing chain rattle saw all the rave reviews for Frank. So took it in for complete timing chain kit and oil pump. Also while engine was out had a new complete clutch and flywheel. Running sweet now.. Frank always kept me in the loop with text and pictures. Would recommend 👌

Took my Insignia Grand Sport 1.6d on a 400 mile round trip to see Frank for its timing chain. He was thorough and worked swiftly to replace the chain(s) and all the necessary components around them, keeping me in the loop throughout the job! I visited the garage 2 weeks ago from London with an Insignia 1.6 CDTi. My timing chain had to be replaced, also new clutch and flywheel have been fitted. The job was done in 24hrs and Frank was very nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable mechanic with fair pricing. Highly recommended!

Got a little Astra J after passing my test back in July, absolutely buzzing about being on the road!! However it became apparent very quickly that this car had issues. after trying and trying to get this "one thing" sorted i eventually stumbled across Frank. after a visit he booked me in asap and just like that problem solved!! (i wish) Frank being the expert that he is, pointed out that my little pride and joy was infact on deaths door!! I was absolutely devastated about the whole thing and I CRIED IN THE CAR PARK (what a loser) Frank came out and offered me a brew and some reassurance that it can be fixed, talked me through what's wrong, the process of the work and gave me quotes there and then for parts and labour. no messing, just straight up.. this guy wanted to help me. fast forward a week, a new timing chain and fly wheel and my car is like BRAND NEW. I cannot emphasise this enough. I had no idea there was anything wrong and thought the little noises and rattles were just normal. The difference is incredible. he's taken progress pics along the way, shown me the old parts, how they work and what was wrong with them. I cannot thank him enough for his empathy, professionalism and expertise. Anyone who's considering using Frank for any work.. absolutely he is your man!! 🙌

Had a timing belt and cam chain replacement here. Very speedy and professional service at a great price. Would highly recommend. We travelled for 2 hours to get there but was well worth it and would use Frank at MB Motors again.
