When ever I go into donate they don’t want to take anything. Everything ends up at the tip down the road. Some good things have ended up rubbish.

Fabulous service received today at the shop. My daughter had a Bradford council voucher for a washing machine. The staff was so helpful and did all the relevant paper work, arranged the delivery which was delivered with in two hours of leaving the shop! Excellent service.

I've had some amazing experiences in this shop and although the furniture and appliances are over priced for second hand (compare the prices to my go to place trawden furniture shop and you will understand) however an interaction today has surprised me a little. I called in, intention of purchasing and dropping off three bags if they had room. Heard an older gent with a super small bag asking if they were taking donations. He was looked up and down and was told they were full so I didn't bother asking the same question (they get a little funny if you ask and they don't have space) As I was about to make a purchase, what I will describe as a well to do couple asked the same question and the same girl told them with a smile they had room for one bag. I did ask why two different things had been said and this was denied which is fine by me. Now my donation doesn't matter (although they won't be getting more from me after witnessing this) the distastefulness of what I felt was a pre judge on what each person was donating made me quite annoyed. Don't pre judge guys, I've generally found it to be the polar opposite of what you would expect.
