A must visit location for train/rail history fans. The volunteers are knowledgeable and keen to share; the displays have been updated and will be even better next year; the archives and library are a treasure trove.

A small but very pleasant museum! We enjoyed the fact that we were allowed to go inside the carriages and sit down on the seats. Plenty to look at, with signs and old posters on the walls. There were some books and DVDs placed out in the museum area to browse through, the magazine room chock-full of railway publications, and a shop full of something for anybody! The chap working at the front desk was very pleasant. Will be coming again in the future and bringing my grandma, she would love this museum!

Spent the day visiting the railway & got off the train at Ingrow to visit the museums. Really enjoyed wondering around the two attractions & the volunteers were so friendly.
