A beautiful manor extremely well renovated with an incredible small museum with beautiful exhibits on earth history, minerals, local animals, and even a well curated exhibition of Japanese drawings.

First time visit to the cafe. Thoroughly enjoyed our panini, fresh salad garnanished with pomegranate seeds and delicious coleslaw. Had to try the cakes after, it would be rude not to! Strawberry and rhubarb slice not sweetened so that the fruit flavour dominated, delicious. The tiffin went down well too. Lovely soft drinks, great coffee. The staff were friendly and we were delighted with the warmth and views overlooking the park. Picked up a loyalty card, we’ll be back! Thank you.

Brilliant free museum have been coming here some 50 years since a small child. The park is lovely with safe play area for children and a café with a good menu selection. Free concerts in summer at the bandstand and winter often bands play at the café. Every visit however old or young is an adventure.

A really gem. The history is just amazing. A great family day out. Free parking, cafe which is not too badly priced. Helpful staff and very large grounds. Great for walking around or play in. The museum is free. They do ask for a contribution which we did. The house is as it was back when it was loved in. The art work and exhibits are just amazing. Go you won't be disappointed. If you can donate to the up keep. This museum needs to open to all.

Beautiful place inside and out a real gem of a place nestled in the now busy town. Spent a lot of time here when I was younger and it's nice to see it's still going strong. One thing I do recommend is seeing the birds I don't no why I find them very peaceful. Enjoy
