The Blue Bell Inn

I stayed as a single traveller and had a great time, and was really well looked after by the staff who were all very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and delicious, as was the evening menu, which offered a varied and outstanding selection. The rooms are at the back of the pub, so there is no noise from the pub. I stayed in room 3, which was very clean and nicely appointed. My only complaint would be that, as other guests have also pointed out, the mattress desperately needs to be replaced. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Bring your own mattress!! Whilst this is a great place to EAT (and if that’s all you’re looking for, I recommend it highly) if you are thinking about STAYING here, seriously consider bringing your mattress from home 🥴. It is no exaggeration to say that the mattress I had to endure during my stay (Room 3) was the flimsiest, most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in any hotel that I have ever stayed in. Having springs poking into my back all night long was not something I expected or enjoyed. Stay away if you value a good night’s sleep.

Located in a beautiful village of kettlewell this is a friendly pub. The staff are warm welcoming and engaging. The food is amazing but I would recommend booking a table....it was unusually quiet when we visited but the barman told us during some periods dining time has to be set to 1 and a half hours....I would definitely recommend the blue bell pie...wow...it was awesome.

One of our favourite places. The food is always impeccable and staff is so lovely. We have never stayed at the rooms but heard they are just as lovely as the pub. Our family’s favourite are the blue bell pie and treacle sponge, at least one of us get them every time we visit and they are perfect EVERY TIME 🤍

Went for a lunch here after a lovely walk. We were told where to sit so went and sat down. Ordered our drinks and food and settled in. Then we were asked to move to a smaller table right in the draft from the door every time it opened… and it opened a lot! Our soups came out and they were very tasty however the inside lip of my bowl broke whilst I was eating it so obviously not wanting to eat broken bits of ceramic I stopped and took the bowl to the owner/waitress to inform her. She took the bowl and said thank you for telling her! No offer of replacing my soup! When I went to pay and as I was paying cash I suggested rounding the bill down by just £1.60 to a nice round number as a good will gesture for what had happened. I got a very sarcastic and stroppy response. So I have to be honest and say we did not have the best experience here.
