Laskill Country House

Stayed here Friday night and was very impressive with what we booked. The place is very relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. The staff were brilliant especially Jen who was a joy to deal with. The food was delicious and the wine list was very reasonably priced. Brilliant stay and look forward to coming back very soon

Visited in Oct last year, 2019, with my husband for our anniversary for a really enjoyable weekend. It was absolutely lovely. The cottages are amazing and the country house is beautiful. Mandy and staff are really lovely too. Really relaxing weekend. Booked again whilst there for this year for the family. Unfortunately the pandemic happened. Mandy was great, more than helpful and understanding. Eventually deferred our holiday until next year, same week, so we're really looking forward to going back, hopefully, but with the family this time. Definately recommend.

I stayed here back in October. The staff were the most friendly and accommodating team I have ever met. They went over and above expectations to ensure that I felt comfortable and happy during my stay. I arrived slightly later in the day and was invited to join the owner and several other guests for afternoon tea and cake and was made to feel welcome right away. Could not have been happier with my room and the stay and will be definitely returning in the summer!

Like staying at a friend's county estate. Beautiful grounds in a lush valley, surrounded by sheep and horse pastures. Hosts were kind, friendly, and accommodating. Food was delicious, including a great tea service. Rooms and furnishings are not overly fancy, but unique and charming, and typically included sitting rooms or access to large, very comfortable common rooms. Strongly recommend, especially if staying with a group.

We watched '4 in a bed' and they won, so we booked it. Upon arrival we were greated by an outstanding country home, followed by a wonderful smile from Mandy the owner. Nothing was to much trouble, in fact Mandy made us feel as if we were the only guest on site, Laskill County House was fully booked. Fantastic hosts.
