Flower of May

Lovely little campsite. Great playground, great swimming pool. Only visited the clubhouse on one night and noted the welcoming atmosphere - it's a smaller, more personal atmosphere (in comparison to losing your kids in Haven). All the staff were helpful, the chippy open on specific nights, path to a cliff-top walk and, if you're brave enough, climb down to a fossil-laden beach with seals. Shower block temperatures hit and miss for tourers.

My husband had a bad accident we was due to go to flower may. We had to cancel due to him not being able to drive. We was told we could change the date and said thank you.we never thought anything more about it due to dealing with my husband. The date arrived and they rung we explained all the above .Then to be told because we didnt change it between the dates we had lost our holiday as if we hadn't had enough happen with this on top. The lady wasn't helpful at all .not as if we asked for a refund. Definitely won't be booking in future .

Good caravan site lots near however entertainment is abysmal it bored you to tears if you want entertainment go to the crows nest campsite. Here it's the same thing everyday Literally bored the kids to death Doesnt cater for anyone above the age of 10 At the crows nest they actually cater for families with children and they have kids entertainment 4-6 and then live bands and singers and children inclusive with families enjoy it. Flower of may bar has an upstairs why not open that for children and families to watch live bands I would recommend staying at flower of may but going elsewhere for entertainment

Excellent destination for family holidays . clean and modern swimming pool, family amusements outdoor play area and on site shop and takeaway reasonably priced. Family bar and entertainment for children together with upstairs adult bar again with entertainment. Only a few minutes from Scarborough, Filey Cayton Bay and Hunmanby Gap beaches.

Went there with our touring caravan for this weekend , its a good site and fully serviced hard stand, nice shower toilet block. Has good club house with a family part and an adult only part above with artist on the friday and saturday nights at this time . Bus stop is near the entrance which is a 10 walk from the club house down the long drive and up when walking back . Very very good site overhaul .
