Job Title: Assistant Educational Psychologist (Remote, Freelance) Hourly Rate: £15 per hour Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible hours Location: Remote (UK-based) Closing Date: 12th July 2026 About the Role *This is a virtual position however, there will be some requirement for travel for in-person work* Join our dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of children and families through delivering virtual-first psychological assessments for children and young people aged 0–25 years. We are looking for a passionate Assistant Educational Psychologist to support our mission of making psychological advice more accessible and create lasting impact through clarity, kindness, and expertise. What you'll be doing: 1. Developing your professional practice in a structured environment 2. Gaining real, meaningful experience in educational psychology 3. Being part of a team that genuinely cares about outcomes 4. Supporting qualified EPs with statutory EHCP assessments 5. Engaging with families, schools, and Local Authority teams 6. Conducting observations and gathering pupil information 7. Contributing to report writing and recommendations 8. Collating and reviewing school-based evidence 9. Working within clear statutory timelines 10. Working predominantly virtually with flexibility built in Key Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of virtual psychological assessments for children and young people. Support the preparation of reports and documentation under the guidance of a qualified Educational Psychologist. Liaise with families and professionals to ensure smooth assessment processes. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times. Support in service development including marketing and operations. Requirements Undergraduate degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1 classification). Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Desirable: At least 2 years experience of working with children and young people in an educational context.
