Key Responsibiliti esManage a caseload of clinical negligence matters from initial assessment through to settlement or tria l.Advise clients clearly and sensitively on the merits of their claims, funding options, and likely timescale s.Instruct and liaise with medical experts to obtain evidence relating to breach of duty and causatio n.Prepare and draft legal documentation, including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, and correspondenc e.Work collaboratively with colleagues across related practice areas to provide a seamless client experienc e.Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the departmen t.Provide guidance and support to junior team members where appropriat e.Ensure files are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and internal procedure s. Candidate Requireme ntsQualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in Clinical Negligen ce.Proven experience handling a broad range of clinical negligence matters, including but not limited to surgical negligence, delayed diagnosis, birth injury claims, medication errors, and treatment dela ys.Demonstrable experience managing complex and high-value cases involving multiple expert witness es.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and medical issues in a clear and accessible mann er.Strong client relationship and client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approa ch.Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of wo rk.
