Paralegal | Housing Management & Property Litigation | Leeds Salary: £26,228 Location: Leeds | 3–4 days per week in the office Process: 1-stage in-person interview + pre-interview assessment We're working with a highly regarded, national law firm to recruit a Paralegal into their Housing Management & Property Litigation team in Leeds. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build real litigation experience within a specialist team advising Registered Providers, private landlords and property clients across England & Wales. The Role You'll support Solicitors on a broad range of housing and property litigation matters, while also developing your own caseload. Work will include: Possession proceedings (rent arrears, breach of tenancy, anti-social behaviour, unauthorised occupiers) Injunction proceedings Disrepair claims Leaseholder disputes including forfeiture Drafting claim forms, pleadings and witness statements Preparing trial bundles Liaising with the County Court Attending Court to assist Counsel and fee earners Conducting advocacy on routine matters This is a fast-paced role where organisation, attention to detail and confidence in court-facing work are essential. About the Team You'll be joining one of the largest specialist Housing Management & Property Litigation teams in England & Wales, acting for over 100 Registered Providers alongside private organisations, developers, investors and local authorities. It's a well-structured environment with strong supervision and genuine development opportunities. What We're Looking For Law degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent Strong drafting and legal research skills Excellent organisation and diary management Confident communicator who can deal with clients clearly and professionally Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure Experience in a similar role and/or knowledge of housing management is advantageous. LPC completed or in progress is beneficial but not essential. Candidates will complete a short assessment before interview. The interview process consists of one in-person stage.
