Marks and Spencer

I'd love to leave a review for the manager, Janet who helped me today when my Google Pay wasn't working at the checkout. Janet went out of her way to support me, including checking on another till point and managing the delay to other customers. She went above and beyond by then paying for my lunch herself as my card continued to not work - this generosity is what life is about and its really meant a lot! Thank you so much, Janet - this is what M&S is known for.

My lovely glitzy trousers suit was bought for me as a gift from marks and Spencer in leeds. It’s beautiful quality and you can wear it together with the jacket fastened or you can put a top and wear the jacket open? And you can also wear it has separates I love it.

I asked the 'store manager' if they still sold the large bags of Sour Cream & Chili Lentil Curls which I bought from there over a year ago. He said 'we've never sold the large bags'. I know this to be incorrect, so I mentioned that I had bought the large bags from that store before. He went on to trumpet 'I'm the store manager and we have never sold the large bags'. Not wanting to be made out to be a liar, I objected again stating it might have been a one-off but I have definitely bought them from there in the past. Unwilling to accept it might have been a one-off and lacking in any kind of manners, he ignored me and continued stacking a fridge. Frankly, I'm not one to complain or write negative reviews but with this kind of arrogance from an M&S 'store manager' I will make an exception.

Great service despite being busy and all staff made sure I could reach and access the food for my journey. I use a mobility scooter so makes all the difference.
