Carphone Warehouse

Negotiated a trade-in deal based on make and model of my phone which I provided to the sales rep. Drove home and came back with said phone. Same sales rep then told me my phone is not eligible (based on age of handset, which he already will have known based on the information I gave him). Refused to compensate and sales manager struggled to let me make my point. Terrible service.

Absolutely disgusting service. Was interested in an LG TV and stopped a staff member to enquire about it. Even before I asked him, he pulled a face, like I was inconveniencing him. So on the back 9f this, I asked if he was busy and, he said yes, but what is it I want. This was enough for me not to bother asking for his help and said to him, it didn't matter. He did ask again in a half hearted way, but because of his attitude for the off set, I walked away. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him, which as a customer, you should not have to feel. Not only had he lost out on a potential sale, but I'm leaving this review as a result of his lack of help. If us as customers are such a inconvenience, then I suggest he looks for another job. Because Customer Service is obviously the wrong profession for him. The other part to this, I was looking for a laptop and asked another staff member, who was helpful. He said he'd get someone to help me with this, and they would be along in two minutes. After waiting a while, I decided to leave, as I had other places I needed to be after this. Again, losing another potential sale!!!

Great service from the Manager Tim. Helped me with a replacement phone I got from ID mobile. Was like pulling teeth dealing with ID mobile but Tim helped even though I didn't buy the phone from his store and got it all sorted. Was very friendly and professional. 100% recommend this store. Shame I didn't buy from these in the first place!

Losing confidence in Currys/PC World/carphone whatever. You call on the telephone and you're waiting for more than an hour for an answer. Try the "Contact Us" thing on-line and it's either not working or you don't get a reply. So the next best thing was to try at my local store, only to be interrogated by an employee at the main entrance outside the store in the rain. All I wanted to do was renew a Care & Repair agreement. You got only one stars because my problem was sort of resolved, although I'm still not sure the advice given was correct. Team Knowhow have messed up and seem incapable of taking ownership of the problem or providing for corrective action. Pandemic or not, there is no excuse for providing an unprofessional, 3rd rate service. Shame on you. I will some time soon be replacing my laptop. For sure PC World will not be on my list of retail outlets for advice or acquisition. PC World is in trouble. You need a complete overhaul and a change of behaviours. You need to learn the meaning of respect. I could help you but you would not be prepared to pay my fee. This is the second time I have had to make negative representation regarding this retailer.
