Popped into Curry's Heeley on Saturday as I need a laptop before work on Monday. Very helpful staff found me a machine that met all my requirements and was in stock. One star deducted for payment procedure though. I don't know the PIN for my credit card so had to order from the website while instore. The website doesn't make allowances for people who don't know the PIN of their credit card for emergency laptop purchases! So I couldn't take it with me, I've had to pay £5 for it to be delivered to me tomorrow. Happy with getting what I need before Monday though .

Carphone Warehouse is absolutely one of the worst scummy companies to buy a mobile phone off. For some stupid reason after a horrific experience buying from them about 6 years ago (fingerprint sensor failed a month after purchase, they insisted upon repair rather than replace and then they scratched the screen whilst away for repair, store blamed repair centre, repair centre said it was always scratched, multiple visits to store, horrific customer service). Anyway I bought again recently, offer was for £100 cashback uplift on trade in. No trade in envelope arrived, customer services refused to speak with me and said i failed security check as i didn't know my own address and would have to verify my identity in the store. Mental as there is no way they would have even given me a phone contract if they had the wrong address for me, so clearly their mistake. After two visits to the store, one time there for an hour plus, they had no idea what to do but they eventually sent another envelope. A few weeks later they returned the phone saying it was jailbroken, which it was not. I have since read the terms and can not find any reference to refusing trade in if it is jailbroken, but regardless the phone was not jailbroken. Anyway, was busy and had lost the will to argue. I could see it was tracking on topcashback so figured at least I would get £65 from that. Of course that has since been declined, have appealed but expect they will say i'm not entitled to that as I did the trade in (which was refused). scum scum scum of a company, avoid for mobile phones.

I like Carphone warehouse they do offer good deals I went with them once it was still 02 tho very nice staff in currys heely retail park really friendly I popped in with my son had problem with phone and they did their best to help

I have visited this store more than once the last time I went will be the last the staff are pretty rude they can see you waiting to be seen but a group of 6 will stand happily chatting amongst them self's this group noticed me waiting but I still had to go over and ask for help to be told some one is coming .
