Crowne Plaza Leeds by IHG

Just arrived and super disappointed by this hotel. Our room is very basic, not clean and not worth what we paid for it. The cleaning is substandard, the rooms in need of renovation, old fashioned and not somewhere I’d ever choose (I didn’t book this). I’ve stayed in the crowne plaza in Liverpool, and the crowne plaza in NYC Englewood, both of which are far superior to this hotel. The bathroom mirror is broken, the skirtings filthy and cobwebs above the sink. The bathroom door handle is off and no sign of the casing for it. The door lock on the main door is broken and substandard. I wanted somewhere comfortable, clean and with a bit of luxury. To be told kids can’t even use the hotel pool when they want to as guests of this hotel is a joke. The TV has free view, not even a quality TV channel on it. This place is no better than a travelodge, just pricier. Never again.

Beautiful room very spacious , we booked the junior suite so bigger than the basic rooms . Great location 5 minutes walk into centre , plenty of bars and cafes close by if you don't want to venture into town. Hotel facilities are good and the gym and pool with sauna and steam room are a bonus. We didn't go to the bar and restaurant for a meal but did have breakfast which was buffet style. We were greeted by lily on the front reception, she was lovely and very helpful

Sayed at the Crown Plaza, Leeds to attend a concert in the city centre. Lovely comfortable hotel with great facilities and the room was nice. Main stand-out at this hotel was the staff. From reception to the breakfast waiters, all the employees at the hotel made us feel very welcome. A special mention to Patrice on reception - She was quite simply wonderful and very helpful - thank you!

We stayed at Crowne for a week and even if it was during kids school vacation the place was pretty good. Rooms are comfortable, common spaces could do we some update. Gym was a nice thing to have and the pool are too. Breakfast can be boring after a week, but is tasty. We didn’t like that we have to pay an extra 100punds for parking, but it what it is. We will stay here again for sure if around Leeds.

Great location. Amazing staff. A decent bar, with a decent selection of wines. The food and the service in the restaurant was very good . The rooms are a little dated and dark.very spacious though. All very clean. Good value and there is a carpark.
