Went today to get tipsy imps. Sally kept some back for me as I came from Morecambe to get them. Yes they are that good. Shop very clean and food was presented well. Got some rolls which looked and taste like scotch rolls ( fab) and a ham cheese and mango sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have tasted. Thanks to Sally and Euan in the shop for the friendly welcome and conversation. If you go to Leyburn go to Thomas the bakers. You will not be disappointed.
Wow not sure were to start , we had had a wonderful break in Aysgarth and on leaving decided to get a sandwich for our journey home , on entering the bakery two members of staff were openly discussing a customer in a derogatory way which should have been the warning sign for us to turn around and leave however we gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to buy the sandwich we went in for, my husband ordered a hot sandwich which as it turns out wasn’t the best. I asked if the salad sandwiches in the cabinet presented had butter on to which the answer was yes, so I asked if I could have a ham salad without butter as I have an intolerance, the young boy who was serving us looked a little taken back by the request and said he had to ask!! He went through to speak to someone and when he returned he told me he couldn’t do this!! Didnt give any reason or ask around intolerances or allgeries just a point blank NO!!! Safe to say on our next stay it’s a place we will certainly be avoiding
Staff are nice and usually the food is good but it was from the hot section and was stone cold. Inedible, my advice is ask the staff as usually they tell you if it's cold...
Sandwiches and sausage rolls this is the place but can’t make a bacon sandwich and £8.25 for 3 of these is dreadful will stick to Andy’s.
Literally the absolute best steak bake I've ever had in my life. Followed by one of these worse cups of coffee I've ever had. Odd contrast but that was my experience just now. Will be back for food defos not for a brew tho.
