This position indicator removes the guesswork by displaying precisely where the saw blade will enter and exit the workpiece before the cut is made. It inserts directly into the groove of the Festool guide rail from above and locks securely in place. Once fitted, the marking indicator scale is adjusted to match the depth setting of the plunge saw, then aligned with your pencil mark. The indicator can also be magnetically attached to the left or right of the support plate, making it ideal for cutting close to walls where the blade is partially or fully obscured.
