The MAX Irons are specifically designed to help players with slower swing speeds and smoother tempos maximize their distance via a high, effortless launch and unparalleled forgiveness. Like the DS-ADAPT, the MAX features COBRA's largest face insert to date and an artificial intelligence-designed variable thickness pattern. By thinning and wrapping it farther around the toe and sole area of the head, the re-engineered face is now 23% more flexible than the previous generation DARSPEED irons. As a result, the MAX produces a robust trampoline effect at impact, generating explosive ball speeds. The stock steel and graphite shaft offerings are KBS' TOUR LITE and PGI, respectively, while the stock grip is Lamkin's Crossline.
