The Festool FS-EP TS60 Immersion Position Indicator is a precision accessory for the TS60K plunge saw, designed to accurately mark the entry and exit points of the saw blade at any cutting depth. Achieving a precise plunge cut can be difficult, particularly at reduced cutting depths where there is little visual reference. Without a reliable positioning aid, multiple plunge cuts or unsafe backward sawing may be required. This indicator eliminates that guesswork by letting you set and confirm the exact blade position before committing to the cut. To use, simply insert the indicator into the groove of the guide rail from above and secure it in place. Adjust the scale on the marking indicator to match the cutting depth setting of your plunge saw, then align it with your mark. The marking indicator can also be magnetically attached to the left or right of the support plate, allowing you to saw cut-outs close to walls even where your sightline to the blade is restricted or completely obscured. The indicator also functions as a start and end stop for the machine, making it equally useful for repeat plunge cuts of the same length or for cutting narrow panel strips where the dimension falls to the right of the guide rail.
