Marshalls Garden Broccoli Seeds Summer Purple - Summer-cropping purple spears, 200 seeds - Green

Broccoli 'Summer Purple' is a summer-cropping variety bred for high yields and good heat tolerance. It produces well-coloured purple spears and is versatile for fresh use. Sow seed thinly in drills and cover with soil, lightly firming with the head of a rake. Mark the row with variety and sowing date and keep the seedbed moist. Seedlings are ready to plant out when 4in/10cm to 6in/15cm tall. Water the planting hole and transplant 1in/2–5cm deeper than in the seedbed, spacing plants 18in/45cm apart. Suitable for pots, patios, small gardens, raised beds and vegetable plots, with harvesting from June to October depending on sowing date and season.
