RHS Award of Garden Merit lavender with fragrant, striking blue flowers that bloom from June to October. Hidcote Blue is drought tolerant and frost hardy (H5), growing to around 60 cm and thriving in full sun and well‑draining soil. Low-maintenance and ideal for borders, containers, cottage gardens and cut-flower beds, it attracts bees and butterflies and is listed as perfect for pollinators. Plant year-round when conditions allow; set the rootball at the same level as in its pot, firm the soil, water in and prune in autumn to maintain a neat shape and encourage a strong summer display.
