Marshalls Garden Gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki Yellow' - Yellow

Enjoy big harvests of rare yellow dessert gooseberries with Marshalls Garden Gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki Yellow'. This hardy mid-season variety produces medium to large greenish-yellow fruit with a refreshing apricot-like flavour, sweet enough to eat straight from the bush. Naturally disease-resistant and dependable in UK climates, the bush grows to 1.0-1.5m and suits pots, patios, small gardens, borders, cottage and wildlife gardens, vegetable plots and raised beds. Plant in full sun or part shade in moist, well-drained fertile soil, pH 5.5 to 6.5, space 1500mm apart, water regularly, feed in spring and prune in late winter; harvest June to October.
