Uncover Music presents ACUA ACUA is a psych-pop/alternative band from Cologne. After over 100 concerts and successful tours across Europe, Canada, the UK and Japan, as well as the release of two studio albums, Head Under Water and Is There More Past Or More Future, ACUA is currently preparing the release of their third album. Patrick (vocals, guitar), Caroline (drums), Maja (synthesizer), and Igor (bass) have built a remarkable reputation through their captivating, hypnotic live shows. With atmospheric guitars, driving drums, swirling synthesizers, and melodic basslines, ACUA has shared the stage as support act for artists such as FKJ, Darwin Deez, The Japanese House, Sam Evian, and OMNI. They have also performed at prominent festivals like Melt! Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, Canadian Music Week and Herzberg Festival. This fall they will release a new album and the first singles of it called "Now And Nothing" and "Fearing And Facing The World" were just released, giving a taste of what's to come. "If you put your head under water, everything gets quiet and you can hear nothing but yourself." Bluewalk Bluewalk, as a band, has a rosy, romantic sound that recalls the warmth of summer. With a sound that combines a love of the hummable melodies and sugary harmonies of the 60s with a strong rhythmic sway that recalls bands like the Stone Roses and the Police. Any differences between each member's influences and playing style is pleasingly linked by a seam of catchy, hook-driven songs with big choruses and the left field instrumentation of slide guitar, flutes, and the occasional organ. These instruments and songs blend to create a distinctly lilting and nostalgic atmosphere of songs you thought you knew but are in fact hearing for the first time. Onfim Named for the doodles left behind by a medieval child, Onfim is a five piece indie rock band from Birmingham. Combining the influences of dream pop bands like Alvvays and the slacker rock of Pavement, Onfim blend three part harmonies with distortion and sensitive lyrics. Formed of five friends, Charlotte Edgington (lead vocals and guitar), Sam Riley (lead guitar), Ben Torrens (Bass), Eleanor Hill (synth and vocals) and Claire Atkin (drums).
