Monsopiad Heritage Village from Kota Kinabalu

The highlight of the visit is the traditional longhouse, built in the classic Kadazan-Dusun style using local materials. Inside, visitors will find one of the most intriguing and historically important displays in Sabah — the Skull House, which contains 42 skulls believed to belong to enemies defeated by Monsopiad during his lifetime.
