King Scallops (Roe On)

Wonderful, fat and juicy Scallops caught off Shetland in the cold clear Atlantic, these are non-soaked Scallops with the Coral still attached. King scallops are succulent and soft and have a sweet, delicate, buttery taste. The king scallop meat is made up of two parts, the meat and the bright orange, crescent shaped roe. Both parts are delicious and can be cooked at the same time. Try gently fried in butter for a classic flavour or fry off some chorizo, remove from the pan once browned and add the scallops to the chorizo oil and cook for a few minutes either side.  500g pack.
