Suitable for both indoors or outdoor use, they add instant impact and drama wherever placed. There are eight settings to choose from, Combination, In Wave, Sequential, Slo Glo, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady on, all of which can be controlled by a push button on the battery pack, or with the included remote control. There is also the option of setting a six hour on, eighteen hour off timer, allowing you to set and forget. If using outdoors, make sure they are placed in a covered area, the delicate fronds of the light are very fine and could rust if exposed to rain, but the barely there wires makes them almost invisible in the day time, only springing to life with a dazzling display of multi-coloured LEDs after dark.
