This product is created for animals and is not intended for human use What is ProZinc 40 IU/ml suspension for injection for Cats and Dogs - 10ml vial ProZinc suspension for injection is used for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in cats and dogs to achieve reduction of hyperglycaemia and improvement of associated clinical signs. ProZinc® is available in a 10 ml vial that needs to be stored in a refrigerator 2 °C 8 °C. Method of administration ProZinc® is a 40 IU/ml suspension and should be used with ProZinc® syringes, which are correctly calibrated for ProZinc®. Other syringes may not be appropriately calibrated and can lead to dosing inaccuracies. ProZinc® should be administered by injection under the skin. The suspension should be mixed by gently rolling the vial prior to withdrawing each dose from the vial. The dose should be given concurrently with or immediately after a meal. Particular care should be taken with regard to the accuracy of dosing. We regret that we are unable to deliver this product to the UK Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
