Christmas Collage With Helen Norman Is A One-day Collage Workshop On Saturday, 14th November 2026, 10am-4pm, At Jackson’s Attic Studio At Griffin Mill. Located In Thrupp, Near Stroud, In Gloucestershire, Griffin Mill Is An Atmospheric Converted Victorian Mill In The Heart Of The Stunning Cotswolds. All Abilities Welcome, Including Beginners. Working From A Selection Of Gorgeous Dahlia Flowers, You Will Learn How To Compose, Draw And Paint From Observation, Using Watercolour, To Create A Botanical Painting That Reflects An Understanding Of The Subject Whilst Capturing The Beauty Of The Plant. This Winter, Learn How To Express Yourself Through Collage With No Need For Paint Or Brushes With Amazing Outcomes! Create Your Own Christmas Cards With The Option Of Having Them Printed In Good Time For The Festive Season. Using Only Newsprint And Magazines, You Will Learn How To Create Your Very Own Impressionistic Collage. Your Collage Will Reflect Either Your Own Subject Choice Bought From Home Or From Helen’s Box Of Possible Suggestions. She Will Guide You Through Your Choice. You Will Be Taken Through Every Stage Of Creating Your Collage From The Initial Sketching To The Finished Piece, Including The Framing. Come And Join Her And Enjoy This Eco-friendly And Amazingly Mindful Experience. Recommended Equipment List Bring Any Old Magazines Or Colour Supplements Of Your Choice, Although Helen Will Be Bringing A Selection As Well. A Rubber. Sketchbook And An HB Pencil. A Print Stick Or A Tube Of PVA Glue. A Packed Lunch. There Is No Café On Site, So Please Bring Your Own Water And Any Snacks You May Need. Tea And Coffee Will Be Provided. About Helen Helen Norman Is A Qualified Teacher Of Art Who Trained At Bristol University / Bristol RWA. A Multi-disciplinary Artist, She Finds Creative Outlet In Impressionist Painting And Collage. She Has Taught In Both Schools And Adult Education And Has Run Collage Workshops For Years, From Home And Various Locations. Commissions Are Frequently Undertaken, Including One For A Well-known BBC Radio Producer Of The BBC Building, Which Coincided With The 100th Anniversary. Her Collages Have Been Exhibited At Affordable Art Fair, Chapel Arts, And Other Galleries In The Cotswolds. Helen Is Artist In Residence At Nature In Art From 11th To 16th July This Year.
