Fennel Solaris F1 Seeds, Fast-Growing Bulbing Fennel - Green

Fennel ‘Solaris’ F1 is a fast-growing bulbing fennel with an intense aniseed flavour, perfect for seasoning fish, meat or sliced into salads. This vigorous, disease-resistant variety is suitable for succession sowing and produces reliable bulbs from a small pack (approx. 40 seeds). Sow outdoors in pre-watered shallow rows 2cm (1in) deep, spacing seeds about 2cm (1in) apart and rows 30cm (12in) apart. As seedlings develop, thin to about 20cm (8in) between plants and ensure remaining seedlings are firm in the soil. Keep soil moist at all times and harvest June to October. Note: seeds have been treated with Fluxdioxonil and Matalaxyl-M to aid germination and establishment; please wash hands after use.
