What a pretty bottle and a lovely Champagne to boot. A graceful, luminous rose colour, shot through with glints of pale orange. Its fine, lively and persistent sparkle lends it an intense freshness with lots of cirrus fruit such as pears, apricots and blood orange. Fresh and light it may be but it could still stand up well if served whilst you are eating the likes of Salmon or Scallops. The Champagne House of Perrier Jouet was founded in 1811. Since that time there have only been 7 Cellar Masters with the current Master, Herve Deschanps, taking over and remaining in charge since 1993. The Champagnes have been renowned for their light and floral nature.
