The origin of our sparkling wines dates back to the end of the Spanish Civil War, when Ramon Nadal Giró recovered the vineyards that had been expropriated to build an airfield and decided to reorient the family wine distillery business towards the production of sparkling wine. As a result, in 1943 the first bottle of Nadal Brut sparkling wine was released.Since then, the family has been producing sparkling wines, and it has remained a family business ever since. Nadal is the "chateâux" of El Penedès region, as everything happens in the estate. A unique place surrounded by almost 100 hectars of vineyards.
