Simply pop the 38mm adaptor inside it to secure a 38mm pole. Or use the 48mm adaptor for a 48mm pole. To protect your balcony, decking, or patio from scratches, we've added raised gliders to the underside of the base. By keeping it raised, they also prevent damp accumulating underneath it. When empty, the plastic parasol base weighs 2.6kg. Because it's light, you can easily pick it up by its indented side handle and move it to a new location. Or pop it into storage when the summer's over.
