Sao Miguel Fire Lake and Northern Coast

Start the tour with a stop at Pico da Barrosa and enjoy the panoramic view of the island from one of Sao Miguel's highest points. Continue towards the Miradouro da Lagoa do Fogo, where you’ll experience an idyllic natural landscape. Descend the northern slope of the Fogo Volcano and take in the island's geothermal area before reaching the centre of the picturesque town of Ribeira Grande. Visit the historic area and enjoy a tasting of Mulher do Capote liqueurs. End the tour with a mandatory stop at Santa Barbara beach before returning to Ponta Delgada.Please note: On Sundays, Cerâmica Vieira and the Liqueur Factory are closed. On these days, the itinerary will be adjusted to include stops at the Santa Iria Viewpoint and the Palheiro Viewpoint, ensuring an equally scenic and enjoyable experience.
