Half Day Wine Tasting in Salta

Pick-up at your hotel: from here, we travel approximately an hour through the Valle de Lerma to Chicoana, in the heart of Salta’s tobacco region. Passing the picturesque old adobe drying sheds, we arrive at the delightful farm of Cielo Verde for our wine tasting. Cielo Verde means “Green Sky” and it’s named for its location in an enclave of hills extending up into the Yungas cloud forest, and the famous Cuesta del Obispo (the road to Cachi). You’ll be received warmly by hosts Carlos and Carla whose 16 hectare estate is also ideal for bird-spotting and short hikes.
