Évora is located in the Center of Alentejo, from its original name Ébora, was a city defended by a strong castle and surrounded by solid walls when the army of King D. Afonso Henriques commanded by Geraldo “No Fear” conquered the Moors in 1165.Our visit begins towards Évora, passing by the 25 de Abril bridge. Arriving in Évora, visit Giraldo Square, the Castle and the majestic Temple of Diana. We suggest a lunch stop at a typical restaurant and then visit the Bones Chapel, the Cathedral and the San Francisco Church.
