Located At Thrupp, Near Stroud, In Gloucestershire, Griffin Mill Is An Atmospheric Converted Victorian Mill In The Heart Of The Stunning Cotswolds. All Abilities Welcome, Including Beginners. This Workshop Is An Introduction To Evening Seascapes, Otherwise Known As ‘nocturnes’, Using Oil Paints On Paper. The Technique Used Will Be Alla Prima, Relying On Intuitive Mark Making To Create Emotive Seascapes. Recommended Equipment List: Graphite Pencils Paper: Mark Recommends Four Sheets Of Fabriano Accademia Drawing Sheets 200gsm 70x50cm You Can Also Bring Some Cartridge Paper For Sketching And/or Your Sketchbook Odourless Solvent Kitchen Towel Paper X 2 Rolls White Spirit (low Odour) Gloves (disposable) A Selection Of Oil Paints (). Mark Suggests The Following Colours: Prussian Blue, Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre, Black, Titanium White, Green, Pink, And A Flesh-tone Pink, Plus Any Others You Want To Bring. We Sell Many Ranges Of Oil Paints, But Try To Buy The Best Quality You Can Afford, Artists’ Oils Rather Than Student Quality Oils. Brushes (a Small Range Of Brushes From Small To Medium For Detailing And Blending) Bring Some Old Brushes For Stippling Everything You Need For This Workshop Is Available To Buy In Our Shop With An Extra 5% Discount.
