Product Description

A heavily-peated 2011 Port Charlotte single malt from Bruichladdich, PAC:01 has been matured in ex-American whiskey casks for six years before being finished in ex-Pauillac red wine casks for a further two years before bottling. Aromas of clove, ginger, chocolate, toasted malt, toffee, coconut and vanilla mingle with melon, citrus, plums and raisins on the nose, alongside rich waves of salty peat smoke. The palate offers notes of dried fruit, marzipan, earthy peat, seaweed, orange and salted caramel that linger in the finish.###Product DescriptionBruichladdich is based on the utterly wonderful Hebridean isle of Islay and is incredibly proud of it too, promoting much of this Island and what it has to offer on their website. All their whiskies use only Scottish Barley (itโ€™s called Scotch for a reason as they say) and are born and created to reflect the character and history of Islay. Their presentation is cracking too.Tasting NotesDried fruit, marzipan, earthy peat, seaweed, orange and salted caramel
