ABOUT THE GIN. Anything but ordinary is the Mission for Ben.It started with Ben’s Canteen, restaurant in South West London. The plan then was to create more drinks that were anything but ordinary. Ben is a big Gin lover, so the next step was a London Dry Gin. Their Signature Gin was inspired by Ben’s trips to Mallorca where he dreamt up the business. In the summer of 2019, influenced by Wimbledon Tennis, he produced the first batch of their Pink Gin which tastes of Strawberries & Cream.. TASTING NOTES. Inspired by Wimbledon Tennis this gin is smooth and complex, with an almost Port-like richness. Unlike most pink gins, this is not a liqueur. It has loads of juniper aroma and isn’t anywhere near as sweet as it looks. At 43% it has plenty of intensity. This is a premium Pink Gin!. FOOD PAIRING. Delicious when enjoyed neat but excellent with aromatic tonic and fresh strawberries.. FRIARWOOD SAYS. Originally only used in cocktails at Ben's Canteen for Wimbledon, it proved to be so popular that Ben decided it needed to be produced full time. This pink gin is a true celebration of British Summer, locally made in Balham!
