Captain Morgan Dark rum is an intriguing blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blend goes through a two part distilling process and is aged up to 7 years in burnt oak barrels. ### Product Description Captain Morgan Rum is named after a Pirate who lived during the mid 17th Century. His was adventurous to say the least, seeing him become firstly a pirate; then imprisoned by the current King of England, Charles II; then he was knighted to become Governor of Jamaica and finally created and ran his own Sugar Cane refinery.
