70cl / 50.5% / Gordon & MacPhail - The annual Recollection Series from Gordon & MacPhail offers a rare insight into the now-closed distilleries of yesteryear. Glenesk distillery was built in 1897 and went through numerous name changes before its eventual closure in 1996. This single malt was matured in a refill sherry butt, which has yielded a complex rancio character.
