Product Description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant, but best to open it half an hour before service. Located in Georgia's renowned wine region of Kakheti, Bedoba is a winery with a long history. It was founded in 1700 by the Konchosvilli family, and the ancient cellars date back to that era. The company's name translates to "Day of Fortune," while the image on the label depicts Saint Nina, the woman who introduced Christianity to Georgia. Bedoba Orange is a Georgian orange wine made from the indigenous Rkatsiteli and Kisi grapes. Vinification occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in a mix of qvevri amphorae and stainless steel, and the finished wine then ages on the skins for six months. The result is a wine with a strong character, a unique expression of Bedoba's dedication to blending ancient winemaking traditions with modern winemaking methods. In the glass, the wine reveals an amber color and a broad, powerful aromatic profile with intense notes of orange zest, dried flowers, honey, and wild herbs, wrapped in a delicate hazelnut aftertaste. On the palate, it is rich, complex, and full-bodied, with a pleasant acidity and a long, deep finish reminiscent of dried fruit. Pair it with Lebanese cuisine or spicy white meat dishes.
