Our Bumper Autumn Planting Onion/Garlic/Shallot Collection contains a versatile selection of white, red and shallot onions along with softneck garlic to keep your cupboards stocked with these easy to grow vegetables throughout next summer and winter. The collection comprises: Onion 'Akado' (Autumn) -  Ideal for autumn planting, producing heavy crops of delicious red onions with a superb sweet flavour that works equally well in salads and cooked dishes. (250g). Onion 'Shakespeare' (Autumn) - A very popular and reliable variety, giving heavy yields of golden-brown skinned, crisp, flavoursome bulbs. (250g). Shallot ‘Griselle’ - Distinctly spicy flavour and ideal for pickling as well as cooking (250g). Shallot ‘Longor’  - A French type producing the longest bulbs we have seen (250g). Garlic 'Germidour' (Softneck)  - Well-known and reliable, from French production that is well adapted to British conditions (2 bulbs). Garlic 'Cledor' (Softneck) - A great addition to any veg plot, for incredible homegrown garlic to use in the kitchen. Stores well over long periods of time, keeping flavour. (2 bulbs).
